Bio
Born and raised in a small town north of Tupelo, MS, Tyler has always had a deep love for music. He began singing at the small Baptist church he attended as a child. Soon he was inspired by some of the bluegrass gospel pickers to pick up the guitar at 12 years old. He cut his teeth on old gospel standards while practicing for hours on the old family porch swing. While he enjoyed the gospel tunes and the message in the songs, life wasn't always as happy and peaceful as they described. While he knew of country music and knew some songs, he never truly listened till one night he heard George Strait's "Living For The Night". Just like that, he found his musical home.
Today, he is a singer/songwriter playing honkytonks, clubs, and festivals, building a fan base with original music for working class people and singing country music favorites. He has released four singles, with more singles set to drop in 2026. He is currently touring around Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, with his band "The Night Shift".
